The Mine Safety and Health Conference Committee from the Western Region is excited to be awarding scholarships to students that are pursuing degrees in either Safety and Health or Mining.

The scholarships will be in the amount of $3500.00 and will be presented at the Mine Safety and Health Conference on October 29th, 2025, at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno Nevada.  Hotel, and conference registration fees will be paid by the committee.  Travel to and from the conference will be on the scholarship recipient.
 

Students with a 3.0 GPA or greater and upperclassmen preferred, but all applications will be considered as other criteria will be evaluated.

Scholarship submissions must be in no later than end of business day on September 10th, 2025.
